I think this is the point where some builders use a “mist” of black spray paint and then when the hull is sanded with a straight board the paint comes off except in the low areas. You might want to give it a try.
@OzzyC: So how well have you recovered from the fairing trauma - did that picture trigger any feelings of panic? ;-)
@Steve: That’s a good thought Steve. It’s been in the back of mind - I always thought I’d give that trick a go once the low spots weren’t so easy to spot with the “naked eye”.
I made some good progress on the X’s this weekend. Maybe I should pick up a can of spray paint this week…
